The\u00a0Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA)\u00a0is the body responsible for the management and administration of the Nigerian ccTLD .ng (registry).<\/p>\n

.GOV.NG is allotted to\u00a0National, Regional, and Local Government bodies and Agencies in Nigeria in order to protect and promote the .ng registry.<\/p>\n

Due to the .GOV.NG being a closed domain extension, there are information required by Nigeria Internet Registration Association.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERING A .GOV.NG DOMAIN NAME<\/strong><\/p>\n

The request should be submitted in form of an authorization letter on an official letterhead duly signed by the head of the institution.<\/p>\n

Authorised signatory for a Federal Government requested domain should be the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Secretary\/Director-General of the institution registering the domain name.<\/p>\n

Authorised signatory for a State Government requested domain should be the Permanent Secretary of the state registering the domain name.<\/p>\n

Authorised signatory for a Local Government requested domain should be the Local Government Chairman registering the domain name.<\/p>\n
